SAP PSCD Functional configuration and Business Analyst (EL1) - Brisbane

Description

Federal Government Client is seeking Development Experts, SAP PSCD Functional configuration and Business Analyst (EL1) to lead software development projects and provide technical leadership to their teams. They manage software planning, development, and construction activities, and evaluate and resolve complex issues within the development and production environments.

Development experts are responsible for the quality and functionality of software, ensuring adherence to relevant standards, guidelines, and methods for system development.

Key duties may include, but are not limited to:

SAP PSCD Functional configuration and Business Analyst – EL1

  • lead and create software and technical designs for the realisation of highly complex development solutions
  • develop strategy to ensure high quality code and long-term maintenance of a product’s code base
  • provide specialist technical advice on software development and maintenance
  • lead the release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance for the team’s developments
  • lead analysis, design, software development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities
  • review and undertake high-level analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions
  • ensure compliance with endorsed software development methodologies
  • investigate and resolve highly complex ICT issues
  • lead a positive risk management culture
  • engage and manage stakeholder relationships and partner with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability
  • contribute to business and strategic workforce planning, and drive the development of local strategies to improve key performance measures
  • review and prepare reports, briefs and corporate documentation and communicate technical findings and recommendations
  • manage business objectives and implement strategic priorities to achieve outcomes
  • lead the development and delivery of projects within the assigned area of responsibility

Requirements
  • Primary Knowledge/Skills/Systems/Tools required for role include:
  1. SAP Contract Accounts Receivables and Payables (FI-CA) or Public Sector Collections and Disbursements (PS-CD)
  2. SAP S4/HANA
  3. SAP FI

Weighted Criteria

  • At least 3 years of experience working in large SAP Contract Accounts Receivables and Payables (FI-CA) or Public Sector Collections and Disbursements (PS-CD) ICT project teams with complex business rules and high data volumes
  • Experience of at least one full end-to-end large scale green field SAP FI-CA or PS-CD implementation
  • Experience with SAP Financial and S/4HANA
  • Ability to prepare high quality documentation, including detailed functional design specifications, requirement traceability, testing documentation and other implementation documentation
  • A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and to share information. Ability to commit to action, display resilience in a high-pressure complex ICT environment, and dedication to achieving positive outcomes
