Description

Apply as an IT Security Specialist and work with a technology team under a Canberra based federal government department.

As an IT Security Specialist, you will:

• create, update and maintain the cyber security documentation. This includes, but is not limited to policies, frameworks, procedures and strategies.
• provide the department with advice relating to cyber security compliance.

Your main skills and experience

• of IRAP and system certification and accreditation requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of the ISM and PSPF.
• of risk management methodologies.
• extensive policy and document writing experience as they relate to security governance, risk and compliance.
• Professional experience in developing a variety of technical documentation.

Nice if you have the ff. skills and experience

• Understanding or background in information security tools such as SIEM, endpoint software, IPS, IDS products.
• Possess relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM,CISA etc.

Other Requirements:

• Australian Citizen.
• with a minimum security clearance: BASELINE and a current police check (within 3 months).
• Can work full time in Canberra ACT.
• Able to start on or before 23 April 2019.
• Contract engagement is for the next 6 months and possible extension.
